Lastly I tried using powdered inks on wet A1 sheet. I really like the 'bleeding' effect of the ink into the paper and other colours of ink. I feel it creates depth, movement and interest which is largely controlled by the amount of water applied. In the examples above I had applied too much water on the yellow side and had almost no control of the end effect. However I think the close-ups highlight that sections of the picture can be really interesting and effective even if the overall outcome was not what I wanted to achieve. I really like the dramatic effects that powdered inks create and will explore this further.
